Footing (Foundation) Probe is usually carried out to understand the depth, size and type of foundation present under a dwelling or building. Typically, footing probe is carried out to estimate the shallow foundations, but this technique can be also used for estimating relatively deeper foundation like deep edge beam, thickened raft foundation, shallow bored piers etc. The results of a footing probe is utilised to understand the impact of an existing foundation by a proposed foundation and thus determination of protection works application. Also, this helps to estimate the proposed connections between an existing to a proposed foundation.
We have soil technicians, who can perform the footing probe for you. With our expertise and experience we can provide detailed report on the existing footings or other shallow foundations. We also collaborate with our partnering excavation company to provide mechanical excavators for excavating deeper stratum and where manual excavation is not feasible.
